Schedule a virtual or in-person pre-natal visit to get familiar with our practice, and remember to contact your insurance provider immediately after your baby is born to ensure coverage for the frequent pediatric visits needed in the first months. Babies are typically covered under your or your spouse's insurance for the first month, but you must add them as a dependent within 30 days—our billing department is happy to assist. Your baby will need regular well-check visits following the American Academy of Pediatrics' recommended schedule. Please complete the electronic forms before your baby's first visit, ideally scheduled one week after delivery. During this busy, sleep-deprived period, jot down any questions for your visits, and don’t hesitate to contact us with concerns once you’re home with your baby.
