Payments & Insurance

We are sensitive to the rising cost of medical care and attempt to keep our fees for professional care as low as possible while at the same time provide quality care.

Please confirm with your insurance carrier that Dunwoody Pediatrics is in-network with your plan. If you are insured with a plan with which we participate you are responsible for providing our office with your insurance card at the time of service. If you are not able to provide us with proof of coverage, full payment of your visit will be necessary at the time services are rendered. It is the responsibility of the patient or the parent/guardian to pay all co-payment and/or deductible amounts at the time of service.

If after your insurance has paid there is any co-insurance or deductible amount owed by you, payment is due within 30 days.

If you do not have insurance or are on a plan with which we do not participate, full payment is required at the time of your visit. We will provide a Good Faith Estimate for your visit based on the conidtion you are reporting.

Effective January 1, 2020, we will be collecting $100 towards sick visits when verification of your benefits indicate that your deductible has not been met for the year. We have picked $100 because it represents the average allowable amount from the insurances with which we participate for the most commonly used code for sick visits. Therefore, since this is an average, when your insurance does pay, a balance may still be due on your account or we may need to reimburse you. You will be billed for any balance above this $100 and we will refund you via check for any amounts due to you if your visit is less than $100. We will do our very best to ensure that these refunds are processed as soon as we receive the information from your insurance.

Please discuss any financial problems with our billing office at 770-394-2358 to avoid any misunderstandings.

For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
